I have a Sony Ericsson T628 which I lent to a mate so he could use it for a
few hours with his own SIM card. Only problem is doing this seems to have
purged the phone's SMS memory, thus wiping out a bunch of messages I wanted
to keep. Oddly, everything else (phonebook, photos) is fine.
Is there anyway to get these messages back? I'm guessing that they're like
deleted files on a computer - the data remains, only the reference
"pointing" to it has gone, and so it can be retrived with some sort of
"undelete" software.
Is there anything I can do along these lines? Could Sony Ericsson help?
Cheers,
Adam.

Try Sony E. you never know. I think your chances are slim. However,
more erudite ones in this NG may disagree.
