Bugger dropped it in a movie theatre. Hope no-one uses it becasue all
I had enabled on it was keypad lock. Have reported it tto the carrier
who placed a block on it.

I assume you had an IMEI block as well as barring. A new sim with a new
phone and you're back on line.

To whom do I report the IMEI number? Do they do anything about it?

Your mobile telco should have it already.

Yes, they black ban it so it cant be used in this country even with a new sim.

I'm not sure how easy it is to change the IMEI on modern mobiles... but
it certainly stops the garden variety of thieves in their tracks.

Change the IMEI in the phone. Illegal tho and not that easy for the
average ape that finds your phone where you left it and decides to keep it.
