network?

Who is selling it, and does it work on NextG?
As for cameras and batteries, tell me something new. I've yet to see any
current moble phone that has fancy color screens etc. having any sort of
decent battery life, nor have I seen anything decent, camera-wise.

K800i isn't too shabby IMHO

....though battery life sucks hard when it roams between 3G and 2.5G
services.

Yes that was part of my point.. my 2 year old k750i has a camera that pisses
all over the spanking-new Samsung BlackJack..

Yep. Just found it. It wasn't listed when I posted the question the
other day.
Telstra sells it for $999 outright or on a plan starting at $60.
Decided to see what people overseas might pay for it.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/wireless/bu...SIN=B000KJS8CI
The phone retails for around $500USD or around $608 AUD. A big
difference between Telstra's pricing and Cingular's for example.
The plan associated with this phone seems to be more attractive than the
comparable ones with Telstra. For starters the per minute charge is less
than half of what I'm paying now.
A few on Ebay are going for under $600 at the moment.
Thing is, the unit doesn't appear to have a touch screen. It'd be a
handy feature if it did have one.

Its PRIMARY function is not a camera phone

So the camera is so nasty as to be useless, why have it?
I ask this because I'm waiting for you to say their advertising is "has a
camera phone for emergencies!"

You can draw that conclusion, if you wish.

You're a tool, fool.

And it doesn't take notes with a single button push, either.
