    Telstra stooge ?????
That's just goes to show how clueless you are , you are too stupid ( or
lazy ) to check out my headers that show that I am NOT with Telstra , but
    with iiNet.

    Nope.

Fantasy. The ONLY thing the newer broadband in the citys will do is
allow you to download high resolution movies in a reasonable time.

Its terminally stupid to be spending billions for that capability.

    > In the country this is not so much an issue.

Mindlessly silly, the same consideration applys with the movies
and its much harder for many of them to pick the DVD up in person.

Another email that will go straight to the bin.

Actually. Optus have put in place a lot of the hardware, and rolling out
wireless doesn't take a lot of time. Two years is absolutely possible.

    >
    > And as for saddling country people with completely untried WiMax

Eh? You call over rollouts in 100 different countries, and a successful
large scale roll out in Canada to do much the same thing we're going to
    do here - called 'untested'?

The only people that sprout on about WiMAX being untested are either
****wits from 'Now we are talking' or the GSM camp.

    > You have just abandoned a key constituency - the

Tell that to all the people who Telstra is migrating over the the WLL
service. A good wireless connection will piss of a rotting copper line
    any day.

Garbage. Rolling out fibre to the country is unfeasible. You willing to
pay the $15bn+ or so to cover only 70% of the population using Telstra's
    rotting copper lines?

    Ever heard of 'competition'?

    > Why don't you just come out and say that you
    > don't care about the speed and quality of service for country people?

    What, 12mbps is 'not caring'?

You seriously are a terminal ****wit.

Like Ruddite not admitting he doesn't know what productivity is, or not
admitting that he's a pupped opposition led by the Unions?

    > Great work Senator! I hope you enjoy being in Opposition come December.

She'll be back, and ****wits like you will be working in their to be

Oh and everything Kevin Ruddite says is fact is it?

Looks like we have another ****wit lefty here - just declare your
elegance before posting would you nex time.

Kevin Rudd doesn't even know what PRODUCTIVITY means. Good luck having a
government paying for a broadband rollout when the country's in a
recession - which'll happen if Rud****wit gets voted it by the mass of
sour-graps unionists (Got SFA chance otherwise).

How many Telstra copper lines do you know run over hills and mountain
    ranges to service one person?

    Hint: it's between and 0 0.00.

    > In short they would have to set up line of sight towers just like for mobile

That's why you roll out a NLOS system, ****wit.

That doesn't make sense you dickhead. If they flogged off Telstra, then
THAT paid for it, not the shareholders.

    > Hopeful all these arsehole Liberals will be unemployed by Christmas 2007.

Unlikely. Most people care about an economy that can be managed and low
unemployment, unlike what you'd infer from the extreme minority of
****wits that reside on NTTP groups.
