That has nothing to do with the Telstra internal BU called "Service
Advantage"...... do try & get your facts straight before posting.

Just like they won't sell the Nokia N95 because they claim it is not
compatible with their 2100MHz 3G network. Funny that, considering it is
the same network the 3 uses!

Seems to me they couldn't get the N95 from Nokia at a cheap enough price
so they they spat the dummy.

So obviously the ZTE **** (that the people I know have been lumbered
with) was sourced from a very cheap source in China. Their electronics
industry is improving, but still isn't quite up to scratch yet, but
Tel$tra don't give a **** about quality as this example demonstrates.

You get that when organisations set up internal BUs with such ridiculous
names. Anyway Telstra is incredibly useless and impossible to get action

I just bought myself a Nokiua 6120c (been waiting for something decent
to appear for NextG). Rather pleased with it and the coverage NextG
offers. Seems they've gone well beyond "every CDMA cell is now also a
NextG cell" as far as the NextG roll-out in the city is concerned.

Yeah, but the matter isn't helped by the low quality of many of the
handsets they're flogging and the wallies doing the flogging.

    I do.

Coverage maps don't show in-building microcells within larger cells that
give you reception inside massive shopping centres, down in carparks or
underground train stations. There _are_ new NextG cells in the metro
area where there was/is no CDMA. eg, down the bottom of Melbourne
    Central train station.

Its piss-easy for Telstra to substantiate, simply supply a list of all base
    stations and their coverage ranges.

No, the average bloke who whinges to their MP is someone who doesnt get what
    they want.

Then the TPA will be sicced onto them without any difficulties.

Just like it was to Nokia with the fading 5110 screens
