Can both phones use the same
SIM card? If so, then transfer your phone book off
the phone's main memory onto the
SIM. Then simply transfer the
SIM over to the
new phone and copy the data into the new phone's main memory.
Assuming of course, that each phone allows the user to do this.
This is what I did with my Palm Treo when I bought it to replace the Samsung
A501. It also had the option of me exporting the 501's phonebook and other
details to an Outlook archive. I then imported that archive into Outlook which
just happens to "activesync" with the Palm which I did after tidying it up a
bit.
