I don't seem to be able to find out whether Virgin Mobile offers GPRS WAP
    browsing on its prepaid plans.

Years ago free browsing of the 'Zoo' walled garden was available but it
seems nowadays I can't get the phone to connect - I receive a message
'Network Unavailable' on my mobile - yet I am using the settings that worked
    way back when.

I have called Virgin's customer service and after sitting on hold for half
an hour, received equivocal advice - the operator did not know whether
things should work and could not supply phone settings.

I can't seem to find anything definitive by googling the web either.

    Ideas anyone?

It seems that Virgin Postpaid plans definitely offer GPRS and HSDPA access
to both Virgin Vibe and full web browsing. But maube prepaid doesn't permit
    this?

Access to Virgin "Vibe" is available, access to the Internet is not.

    Thanks Horry,

Any idea about the APN and IP address to use?

I can't get things to work at all and the Virgin Mobile website
configuration tool won't send the settings txt to my phone - it's dead.

I've just gone and stolen my sleeping son's prepaid Nokia 5070, and I can't
find the settings anywhere in its menu.

I can definitely access "The Vibe" though.

"Preferred access point" is set to "Virgin WAP" but I can't find out what
    "Virgin WAP" actually is.
