Re: Samsung A900 review
Question for the group - I am now able to connect my A900 to PC, and can transfer mp3 to the phone. Is there a way to transfer ringtonw to the phone as well? (ie, which directory should I put it in, and what format must the ringtone be in, etc?)
Thanks

Re: Samsung A900 review
I believe you can use Rumkin to be able to send ringtone-usable files to the handset.
Unfortunately, I have no experience with Rumkin, as it requires 1X to use, which we don't have up here yet.

Re: Samsung A900 review
Yes, it does. Internal memory storage is about 42 megs free for MP3s.

Re: Samsung A900 review
is it possible to add more memory? 42 megs will hold about 10 songs?

Re: Samsung A900 review
It's not expandable, nope, you only get what the phone comes with unfortunately.

Re: Samsung A900 review
Each phone is better for different reasons. The 900 is VERY slim. The 920 has a card that can be removed to add mp3's to (If I remember correctly) Oh, as for the ear phones. I am sure that the 900 has them, but you will still not hear the difference in sound quality.

Re: Samsung A900 review
I figured out how to upload ringtone from my computer to my A900, thought I'd share with you.
Go to www. funformobile. com, on the left hand side, there is a link to "Upload Ringtone" under "Free Uploads" section. Select the carrier, enter the phone number, and select the mp3 on your computer, and you're done! The site will send a text message to your cellphone with a link to download the mp3 to your phone. However, I should warn you that you probably shouldn't try this unless you have the 'unlimited browser' service ($7/month), because otherwise Bell will charge you data tranfer cost, which I think is $51/mb.
I uploaded numerous ringtones to my phone this way...Hope this helps...Last edited by need4greed; 08-01-2006 at 06:34 PM.
