Anyone seen this? "//wma: 3716" in an Urgent Web Alert

I need some help. I keep getting this web alert, 4 or 5 times a day. It's coded as Urgent, but there is only the following in it "//wma:3716" and a link that brings me to a page that says "No content is available to be displayed", and an HTTP error message. I don;t know what this means, and I've already contacted Bell support, and Bell Data Support. And if it means anything, I have the Samsung SPH-A920. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate them.

... Sorry, can't help you on this one. Bell CC and data support can't help ? I'm tempted to say something is possibly wrong with the handset then.

Re: Anyone seen this? "//wma: 3716" in an Urgent Web Alert

You may be right, but the only thing that leads me to believe it isn't the phone, is that its only a month and a half old, and it started the second I download MSN Mobile. But when I uninstall MSN Mobile, I still get them for some odd reason. And my phone has never been dropped, wet or misused in anyway. I work for XBOX 360 Support, I'm careful with my electronics. I'm just worried that I'm being charged per web alert, while I'm getting nothing out of it

Go back to the Bell World and have them do a factory reset of the device. That will return your phone back to factory settings, and you should be ok.

Re: Anyone seen this? "//wma: 3716" in an Urgent Web Alert

Hello everyone

You receive this message because you downloaded the extremely cool and free MSN Messenger application and did not Sign-out, you pressed the end button instead.

For some technical reasons related that go over the scope of this message, you are receiving this Alert because you remained logged in in MSN and someone is trying to talk to you. This Alert is suposed to launch your MSN Mobile app, or link to a wap page that tells you someone is trying to talk to you on MSN.

To fix this, you need to do the following:
- Launch the MSN Messenger application
- Sign-in if required,
- Do not exit the app. by pressing the end button.
- Press the Top Left button on the Phone that reads MENU on the screen.
- Choose the Sign-out option.

In the future, if you ever get that Alert again, at least you know that someone is trying to talk to you on MSN Messenger.

This been said, if you Sign-in to MSN and want to remain available so your friends can talk to you, hit the end button and exit the application.
If you want to Sign-out, use the Sign-out feature from the Menu button.

Happy Mobile IM to everyone!
