#1 Sales Representative in Canada for Bell Mobility post-paid activations for the month of November, 2005 (based on 3rd party Bell Mobility & Solo Mobile retailers)
I heard January-ish.. but that's not for sure either. My local store got their demo phone in a couple weeks ago already, so hopefully not too much longer It can take until feb 24th though on my part because I can't get my hardware upgrade until then.
they are releasing it in March 2007... only question that remains is which version.. is it the 800 or 8500. 800 does not have a micro sd expandable compartment, where are the 8500 does.. anyone know which model number?

The easies way to transfer data (music, etc) to a phone like your chocolate is to transfer the data to the Micro SD card and utilize your phone's media player from there. (you accomplish this by taking out the sd card and putting it into your pc's card reader). If you're hell bent on doing it via the USB cable (which is only included for tethering btw), then first go to www.businessonthego.ca and download and install mobile connect. This will include the driver for your phone. Then download and install a program like bitpim ( Welcome to BitPim ) Utilizing this software you can access your phone's file structure and transfer data back and forth. Pictures are more tricky and require another program to view, convert and resave into a standard jpeg file.
Bell.....and Telus,,,, and Rogers too, all limit the access to your phones in order to increase their bottom line. The american carriers don't need to do this because they have a client pool ten times larger than Canada's. Bitpim's file structure access will work, but the last version I tried still did not allow us to use it's handy pic and media buttons. This program is freeware and is designed for use with US phones, although a lot of the models are the same as Canada's, just s/w differences.

Ok, well my LG800 doesn't have removable memory and I've found one driver that installs the phone as a modem but no where can I find one that will allow me do download my pictures or MP3 to or from the phone. If anyone knows anything about how to fix this please email me at tiffjbruce to hotmail.com please... I've been having this issue for MONTHS and still can't find a soul to help. Is there some kind person who knows how to help?? thanks in advance.

Same as me! I love this phone, but damn, I want to have an access to my pictures, and I want to be able to upload my screensavers and ringers too!
Thats terrible that bell had disabled the modem function, because they want us to buy all their crap!
