Unsure if you are aware of this as I was not, was told that any new contracts signed with Aliant can only be done for 2 or 3 years, and hardware upgrades can only be done after 2 years on a 2 year contract and 3 years on a 3 year contract.
The change occured on the 3 year contract you used to be able to get a hardware upgrade after 2 years on a 3 year contract, however now you no longer have that ability.

Just a heads up to those that are signing a 3 year contract that you can no longer get a hardware upgrade after 2 years.

I do not know if this is for all of the bell cell phone plan or if it is just something that Aliant is doing. Since bell has purchased Aliants mobility division it is no longer customer friendly as it used to be.

Well, it all depends really. Your personal ARPU, conditions when you signed up initally, etc, all make a difference in when / how you're allowed to do a hardware upgrade.
