I'm just a little confused... and would like to clear things up with some help. I jumped into the lake with my a900 in my pocket and it came with me for a little wakeboard ride. So im almost certian its dead. I am just under a year into my 3 year contract with Sasktel (they associate with bell). All i'm asking is how do i go about getting a new phone under this number so i can use a phone under this contract? I assume I will have to buy the phone at full price? and is there any way to get the cheaper price on the phone? Example - can I purchase my new phone on say my parents contract due to the fact that they are past contract constrictions, then bring the new phone over to my current number?

You need to purchase a new phone. Your parents can renew, get new hardware, then swap it out back to their old hardware and give you the new hardware, this is a possibility. You'd have to check with SaskTel to see what the costs would be.
