New to the forum and this is my first post...

I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else... I read somewhere on the web about it before but I'll be damned if I can find the post again.

Since I've had my phone Samsung u740 for almost a year now.. every now and then I will receive text messages from other bell mobility users that I don't know.. and they don't know me... it isn't an issue with a one digit phone number difference... The messages are intended for one person but they arrive at my phone..
Also, people that I have text messaged before get random text messages that appear with my phone number attached but which I have never sent...
For example, I was out with a girlfriend of mine a few weeks ago and she received a message from my phone number that said something to the effect of... are we still meeting for lunch Tuesday to dicuss the mortgage. The message had a time stamp that showed it could have only been sent when I was with her... I had my phone with me, and it wasn't on....
This has happened for or five times... Friends receive random messages from my number which I have never sent....
