Trading Contracts and number portability

Hi,

I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. I am switching phones and contracts with a friend (i want his iphone and he wants my blackberry) I'm switching from bell to rogers and want to know if I can port my number when I take over his contract (and he will just get a new number when he takes over mine)
