Won a Telus Tour but I'm with Bell

Hey,
Hope you people can help me out. I won a BlackBerry Tour from a Telus dealer (its says Telus on it). Ive got a contract right now until mid next year with Bell and don't want to buy it out. I want to make use of this phone by switching it over to my Bell contract. What do I need to do? Will getting it unlocked allow for me to get it hooked up on my existing Bell contract? Somone told me these two CDMA networks are not compatible with each other...
