    Well. Its just a bad dream thats all. I cancelled the contract for my daughter's phone last Feb 09, payed the penalty they suggested, and they sent me a bill a year later saying we owe 120 some dollars and said we didn't cancel the contract. They used the money for monthly minimum billing and that is why we haven't seen a statement!!!! When I said we paid the penalty and you can see the phone has not been used for a year!!!! They said well you should have phoned to see if it was cancelled??? I said we paid what you requested to cancel it and your employee confirmed it was cancelled.... and they said it is basically our word against theirs. Even when I escalated to the supervisor, we could hear conversation and laughter in French..(Quebec) .. They said who was the person you spoke with and we said it was over a year ago. "well then you should just pay it..our employee may have made a mistake but you should pay it, because we don't show record.." What?? The phone has not been used, you did not send us a monthly statement , why would we think it is not cancelled?
    They were totally lacking any kind of service attitude, and treated us as if we were dead beats. It was the most unprofessional conversation I have ever had with any business, and I will go on telling everyone about Bell and my experience with them.
    The fact is, they even confirmed that the amount we overpayed was the cancellation, and said at one time they can't tell month to month whether we use the phone or not. Why I assume because they never generated any bill. Until the money ran out. The contract also expired naturally in Feb 10 so they decided we owe for that because they automatically renew it if they don't hear from us...I said you didn't hear from us because we cancelled the phone a year ago and payed the fine to do so. So now I have a bill from them to pay again, to cancel it and who is to say they don't pull the same stunt. That is borderline illegal and certainly a joke as far as what a company is supposed to act. They are a joke. I have dealt with all mobile companies, and these guys are below sea level for professionalism...
