Today I got a free Bell text Message that reads:
From: 41130
Free Bell Msg: Great news, you can now upgrade your phone to a Samsung Galaxy for $0. Visit an authorized Bell store before Jun 5
I am on a 3 year contract with Bell that ends at the end of this August. This was my first phone so pardon my ignorance cause I haven't really looked into this much, is this some sort of credit? Or when I got to the store will it be some sort of promotion that goes like "Oh yes it is a free upgrade for $0 but you have to sign another 3 year contract".
I'm asking because I'd rather not go to the Bell store and ask, then look the fool when I don't want to sign another 3-year contract without looking at what other providers have to offer now (since it's been 3 years a lot has probably changed).

Re: Upgrade to Samsung Galaxy for $0?
Well the Samsung Galaxy is already $0.. So I'm not sure.
But since you are 2 years+ into your 3 year contract, you should get around $150 off a new phone IF you sign a 2 year contract, and $200 off a new phone IF you sign a 3 year contract. (I was told this by a user on this site).Last edited by nickynicky; 05-23-2010 at 11:37 AM.
