Deactivate Blackberry Curve Verizon

I recently just switched service providers from Verizon to T-Mobile and would like to sell my old phone, a Blackberry Curve. I kept my old number, I've cancelled my account with Verizon, and I have restored the phone to factory settings. Is there anything else I need to do so that I can sell the curve?
