gprr data charges

How do I find out what is being sent from my curve 9310 that is causing me to be charged data charges from ATT.

I do not use email - some of these charges are at night and I'm not using the phone

Is there an application that gets weather updates maybe?

No there isn't anything like that - as a matter of fact I get theses charges sometimes at 2 AM - I live in a dead zone for cell phone coverage and cannot get a signal in my house or neighborhood. I actually have to go down the road to get a signal. So I just don't get it
