I took my T-Mobile Curve with me to Jasper, Edmonton, Glacier Nat Park and either had very poor or no connections on the whole trip. I saw others having no problems with their phones, using Verizon (I asked). When my contract is up... I'm quitting T-Mobile.

Re: T-Mobile Curve has poor range
Sorry to hear you had such a bad trip. May I ask, did you try roaming on to AT&T if you would have needed to make a quick call.
I have T-Mobile, and for the last 2 years I have only found 2 places where my phone wouldn't work, but Verizon didn't work in one of those places either, and the other I didnt have a verizon phone to check it.
Good luck with whoever you go with, tho!

Re: T-Mobile Curve has poor range
Was the location in the mountains? The name made it sound like it was.
It isn't so much the phone, the Curve, as it is the network, T-Mobile.
T-Mobile focuses on urban areas opposed to rural areas. Verizon covers it all...usually. They just build and keep building.
