Set Auto On/Off To Save Battery Life – You can save battery life and prevent others from disturbing you while you are asleep by adjusting the Auto On/Off features on the BlackBerry Curve. From the Home screen, select 'Options'. From here, navigate to 'Device > Auto On/Off'. You will have the option to set separate Weekday and Weekend times for your phone to automatically turn on and off. Simply choose 'Enabled' in each section and specify the times at which the phone should be turned on and off.

Using NFC Technology – Enabling NFC communications on your BlackBerry Curve makes it possible to transmit files and other pieces of information directly between two phones. To do so, start by enabling NFC. Navigate from the Home screen to 'Connections > Manage Connections' and check the 'NFC' box. To connect to another phone or smart accessory, tap the smart reader on the back of the BlackBerry Curve to the other smart accessory. Depending on the situation, you may need to pair with Bluetooth. To disconnect from the device, tap it again on the device in the same way that you enabled it.

Take Advantage of Voice Commands – To use this feature, select the 'Voice Dialing' icon (may be on the Home screen or in a folder, depending on customization). After the beep, say a command. To improve voice recognition, navigate to the 'Options > Call Management > Voice Dialing > Voice Adaptation'. Select 'Start' and follow the instructions. You can even change the voice input language by going to 'Options > Typing and Language > Language and Method' and changing the 'Voice Dialing Language' selection.

Enable/Disable Location Data – For many reasons, you may either want to enable or disable the location tracking of your BlackBerry Curve 9350. To do so, navigate to 'Options > Device > Location Settings'. To disable Location Aiding, select 'Location Aiding' followed by 'Disabled'. To disable this while roaming only, select 'Disabled While Roaming'. The same applies to Location Data; simply select 'Location Data' and follow the same steps.
