My number display is wrong???

I hope someone can advise me on the following:

I have a GSM unlocked Storm 9630 from Verizon. With my local SIM it all seems to be working fine on my home network here. The setup of the handset is working all fine and email is OK.

My issue is with the "my number display" This number appears on the top of the screen when your dialing and is seems very very wrong. This number is not the number associated with my SIM at all and also appears when you check your Call logg.

It is the correct number via the Advanced option, Sim.

Anyone that can help on this please. Many thanks in advance

can you try using a diff sim card see if the error is on the phone or the simcard itself?

I fixed it by doing this:

Typed ##000000 from the dialing screen to bring up a menu where you can change the number.

The Mobile Directory Number (MDN) is the one you want to change.

Just put the cursor on that number and press the delete key to delete those numbers and then type in your numbers.
