Getting it set-up with the comforts of your older/other computers can be a chore. Even with Apple's syncing feature it can be frustrating... a little.

yes syncing brings all the major stuff, Bookmarks, contacts, key chain stuff, which is great, but its the little stuff your use-to that's time consuming.
