  1. What is happening to my beloved Nokia?

    This happens to be the most emotional article I have ever written in my short period as a blogger. It has been all over the news that Nokia will retrench a further 10 000 workers. According to YAHOO , this will bring the total number of workers who lost their jobs to 40,000 since Stephen Elop took over as CEO in 2010.In order to try to steer the ship from an approaching iceberg, Nokia will close its plant in Salo, Finland, with 3,700 employees losing their jobs in the process.

    The Nokia 2110 was most notable for being the first Nokia phone to both send and receive SMS .Nokia 2110 was released in 1995.

    FEATURES

    With a large, illuminated LCD display, Nokia 2110 weighed at almost quarter a kilo (236 g) and measured 148 x 56 x 25 mm. However it was almost half the weight of its predecessor, the Nokia 1011 which was released in 1994.

    The Finnish phone manufacturers, Nokia have announced yet again one of the simplest and cheapest phones available. Nokia 103 was announced in April and it is expected to hit the shelves anytime soon during the second quarter (Q2) of 2012. It will be first released in Nigeria and then the rest of the world and cost only Ä16 ($21/£13)
