LG Env - problems with Charging mechanism

To all of you who have had or are having problems with your ENV (VX9900) charging mechanism I want to share that I'm not resting with their complacency about this problem phone - Verizon Wireless (VW) reps continue to make us feel as if we are the problem when I'm hearing from a lot of you that, the phone is the problem. We've had to replace ours 3x now and they want us to send the bad phone back to find out if we caused the problem and if so charge us for the replacement phone. Well what do you think they are going to say? The charging mechanism is loose (as were all the previous charging mechanisms).
I'm writing a letter to VW corporate and asking them to replace this malfunctioning phone at no cost to me. Why should any of us have to pay for a replacement phone when the darn phone has the problem and it's not us.
I encourage you all who have VW to send them a letter asking for a replacement. The address is: Verizon Wireless,Executive Relations Team,

There is no reason to take this lying down. This company makes millions of dollars on people like us who make them rich. Replacing a malfunctioning phone is not going to bankrupt them and if LG continues to manufacture poor quality phones, then VW should go after them and perhaps stop purchasing LG phones or better yet, make LG replace the phone. There should be some type of manufacturer's warranty on these products.
This is totally unfair that we pay the price for poor quality. I hope you write to VW.
