Can you unlock Bluetooth Capabilities?

I am with ATT and i am trying to transfer ringtones to a verizon phone, but the verizon Motorola will not accept it...

Is there a way to disable it, or do i need to load it onto the computer then transfer it that way?

Unfortunately, VZW has locked that capability, and I don't know of any way to get around it ... I have the same problem with my Moto Z6tv. However, it's easy to get ringtones on a VZW phone by using a USB cable, and two free software downloads: Motorola Software Update (MSU) and P2kCommander (P2kC).

So if i get the cable for the computer would i be able to use something like Motorala phone tools to transfer the ringtones? I have the Application for my old ATT SLVR, so i would assume it would connect with all moto phones, or will verizon Moto phones not conect to the att suplied moto phone tools?

i havent had any problems blue toothing stuff to my samsung omnia through verizon...

I can transfer certain files using bluetooth, but not files as ringtones. BHoll, you should have the option of transferring ringtones to your phone using a USB data cable and two free software apps: Motorola Software Update and P2kCommander. You could also try Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) ... that should work as long as it's a Moto phone. And yes, you should be able to copy the ringtones from the one phone to your PC's desktop, and then d/l them to the other PC from there. Keep us posted.

i have sent a few ringtones to my samsung alias with my omnia with blue tooth and by text. and had friends send my ringtones, songs with bluetooth... i remember when i got my alias a year ago i couldnt tho, but i can now....
