Hello all

I'm a student, trying to design a program to my final year project (sorry for any silly questions..)
My purpose is to bulid an app that drawing a 'map' between bluetooth device & a computer. I don't want to use GPS..
1. Is it possible to determine a range of bluetooth device from a computer/base station by the signal the bluetooth sends? Meaning, could I translate the signal sending from the blutooth to distance?
2. Is it possible determine the direction of the bluetooth device concerning to the coputer/base station?
