Tracfone: PROS: Cheap Phones, Works anywhere there is a signal, and
has plenty of Promo's
CONS: Expensive Rates, Older Phones, and Crappy Customer
Service
Virgin Mobile: Pro's: Cooler, Cheap Phones, Flexibility of Plans, and Customer
Service
Con's: Limited to Sprint Towers only, Ringtones and Downloads
Overpriced, and the Constant Nickel and Diming.
Boost Mobile: Pro's: Uncrippled Phones, Direct Connect, Rates, WAP, and all
the benefits of Post-Paid Service
Con's: Expensive Phones, No Rural Coverage, and Customer S.
So, it all depends on your area and needs. | | Did you find this post helpful?

#4 | | Member | Acutally none of these service providors are the best. The most honest and cheapest one i have found is from Long Distance Post. Phones and plans can be purchased on their website at www.ldpost.com. If you run into any trouble they have amazing customer service then can help any time needed. | | Did you find this post helpful?

#6 | | Member | I am well aware of what he was asking. But LDPOST provides service on GSM, CDMA and TDMA netwroks. Basically it gets coverage where ever you need to go, and it far cheaper and more effective then any of those companies. Phones activated on CDMA network will recieve the same coverage as verizon while phones activated on GSM work similar to Cingular/T-Mobile and AT&T www.ldpost.com | | Did you find this post helpful?

Sprint is nationwide, and one of the largest providers in the country. | It's fine as long as you are in a city or along an interstate. If you even venture from either, leave your phone at home. It won't do any good. I had virgin mobile because I didn't use my phone much, and I'd say that 60-90% of the time it had no signal, due to the Sprint towers. BTW, I lived in LaCrosse, WI. We had Sprint service, but it was very spotty away from I90. No service in SW Wisconsin.
If you are rural based, or have family there, use TracFone for prepaid. It works wonders for my family. And they live in the sticks.

#10 | | Phone Addict | I'd say I like T-Mobie To Go if you're doing prepaid.
They have great rates and cool phones. Virgin is also good, but I don't quite understand their plans. As for Boost, I only like their high end phones and bad service. Tracfone has ancient phones, but apparently good service.

Sprint is nationwide, and one of the largest providers in the country. | Actually Sprint has a very small network, they have one of the largest calling areas due to partnership with other companys such as Verizon... Vigin mobile users are only allowed to use the sprint towers. | | Did you find this post helpful?
