i455 Data access

I am new to cell phones but not computers. I have a Boost i455. Just purchased a usb cable and have also installed the Motorola Iden USB driver and have Mobil Phone Tools 3.11. I am not able to connect to the phone. Has any one had any luck in getting this combination to work? If so, what am I missing?

MPT isnt for iDEN PHONES

to use as MODEM
click new Connection > Dial up >

phone number enter "S=2" with out Quotes, and it has to be CAPITAL S

For MODEM select "USB iDEN Modem" Hit DIAL and NO USER NAME OR PASSWORD REQUIRED DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING

OK, I finally got the dial up connection properly installed, and have a good connection to the phone, but no communication with Mobil Phone Tools. Is there some other way to upload pics and ringtones to my phone, some other software that would use the dial up connection. Any Ideas. Thanks.
