I love Boost and the new i776!!!

I just got the Boost i776 the other day and it is by far the best phone I've used. It's a great upgrade from my Kyocera s400 I had on Metro PCS. Not only was I dropping 10 times more calls with Metro, but the phone was equally as horrible. The battery wouldn't last through an entire day and it never seemed to have service. Now I have a phone that actually works.

The i776 is a great clamshell device with Bluetooth, a camera, AND Walkie-Talkie. Being able to connect instantly with all my friends wherever I need to, is awesome. Even though the i776 is compact, it's still solid and practical. External caller ID and the camera are the two features I love the most, but the Bluetooth is now just as used with the headset driving law now in effect.

I highly recommend the i776, it's at a great price point, $99.99, and I highly recommend Boost. Great service and a LOT less dropped calls than Metro. I'm on the Chat Plan too, which has been a great value for me. I have a lot of friends with Boost and Nextel and I have unlimited mobile to mobile and Walkie-Talkie now...so it's perfect.

You can buy it on line directly from Boost or check their website for retail stores like Target, Wal-Mart etc..

Welcome alone brotherr! I had them since I was in the 7th grade. Im now a junior in high school. Im using the i425 just cause its a classic from its younger brother the i415 but the i776 is a pretty sick phone. I might think about gettin that one pretty soon. Alsoo you shoulda checked in nextel they have em for like 75 bucks

I just bought one of these and am waiting for it to arrive. I'll post my opinions after i use it for a while.

Does anybody know why I seem to have to "download" received texts messages with the new i776 phone? Not a problem I just want to know. Anyone who knows about this, please let me know.

there is no way! i would test it constantly

if someone sends you a templete message.. you know those preset messages on your phone .. (short cut messages) it would download!

come home
see you later
love you
in a meeting
out to lunch

but when i would text normal.. it sometimes didn't download..

verizon phone messages would download
tmobile...didn't need to download

i tried so many combos ..i don't even know why the iden boost crap would ask a simple text message to download! boost didn't have the answer..they told me..


"if the message has more then 20 words, it would have to download" ... they said that based on the information i gave them...

EXCEPT THE PHONES ARE SLOW...
MY KRZR HAS A 2 SEC DELAY.. BUT YOU KNW WHAT.. THE PHONE WORKS.. IT HAS BARS AND IT'S BEEN GOOD TO ME!

THAT'S WHAT COUNTS.. NOT A CHEAP RATE, NOT A GIMMIC TO GET CUSTOMERS..

BUT A GOOD PHONE WITH GOOD SERVICE!

I agree with ya.

I'm thinkin about getting that blackberry curve phone or blackberry pearl. I'm not too sure yet. What I do know, is that I need to get rid of boost ASAP. This is my very first time being with boost, and I noticed the new i776 phone, and decided to see what this phone was about. All I can say is, don't buy this phone for its camera "as said in the review on youtube" OR FOR ITS "TEXT MESSAGING"! Which is my own opinion. On a good note, the service is pretty good. I never have any dropped calls, but unfortunately, that's the only good review I can really give to that phone. I would have to give it two thumbs down overall.

Somewhere you should set download to automatic. There's another post here that tells you where that option is, I just can't remember which one.

i wouldn't trust thread

OK, you need to realize just because someone posts a thread that may be on another website doesn't mean it is Spam. Some people post on multiple forums to get multiple communities responses. Not a big deal.
