Does anyone else have this problem?
My boost voice mail picks up after 3 rings (as heard by the phone dialing my boost number). This is way too quick. I can't get to the phone that quickly half the time.
I've called customer service and tech support and they said there is no way to change the number of rings.
I was curious if everyone's voice mail picks up that soon?

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
Yea i actually have Boost mobile and i think there was a way to change it.
It my goes to voicemail after 5 rings. Sometimes it also depends on the patience on the person calling too lol.
Try calling your voicemail and goto options.

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
Unfortunately, I tried that. I can't find any option in the voice mail menu to do this.
I wonder if they took that option out?

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
I have the Motorola i880, I'm on the boost unlimited plan.My phone does the same exact thing I called boost 3 times today and everytime they told me they could not help me. The last time I asked them if they could change my soc ringtime and they told me they had no option to do that. The one time they told me it had to do with it being an IDEN phone, and that is B.S. because when I was with Nextel it was an IDEN phone and it rang for 30 seconds. If anyone can solve this problem I would love to know also. Thank you *Foodstamp*

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
It actually depends.
For example, not all areas can have the ability to change it.
With Verizon Wireless, they have the ability to change it...depending on your location. Each part of the country is ultimately operated by a third party vendor (even if your provider is boost...it isn't necessarily boost who services your towers)...it is up to the individual servicing company.

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
Hello. I just got a !335 BoostMobile phone with the unlimited 50 and migrated my # over from sprint/nextel and now have the same problem. The reception is as good as iDen Nextel. The sound and the phone are awesome. Voicemail picks up after only ten second(three rings for calling party)!!!! ridiculus i cannot even get my phone out of my pocket and i see missed call. I keep calling them hoping to talk to someone who acknoledges this as a real problem but they just play dumb. and no one will increase ring time duration for me, they say it can't be done. So basically everyone leaves me a message. As a result i'm always having to check my voice mail (very anoying). Iv'e had Nextel change my ring duration to 8 rings before voicemail, but after the sprint takeover i switched to a ic502 with the dual network the max rings went down to 5 and the sound quallity fell off. Plus the ic502 is a lousy phone. So i finally switched to Boost with a real iDen phone. Boost needs to address this issue immediately if they want to keep my buisness. I will be posting on other forums. I will be calling the Better Business Beuru about this, and i suggest others do the same. If anyone on this forum knows of any other forums addressing this let me know. This issue needs to be brought to attention and dealt with asap.

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
3 rings. thats all it takes.. someone please come up with a solution I've been googling for days, on the phone with custome care. and the whoie nine yards. no one knows how to fix this. its just a matter of if boost wants to keep discriminating customer who need time to answer ther phone. I'm gonna accept boosts inferior care and move on to another cell phone co..

Re: Boost Goes to voice mail too soon!!
Come on boost. Help us out here. This isn't rocket science. Someone working for boost should have an answer. A tech, or someone. There is a way of fixing this, I know. It just depends on IF they want to help fix this. I'll keep calling, and asking for a supervisor.

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us through Boost mobile ,com.
Unfortunately Boost Mobile phones do not have an option that will allow you to adjust the number of rings before the voicemail answers. We do apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please resubmit a new request on-line at [/www boostmobile com]No Contract Prepaid Cell Phones & Unlimited Plan | Or you can give us a call at 1-888-BOOST-4-U (1-888-266-7848) and we’ll be happy to help you out.

my response: I know the phone has no option but Boost should!, its on the network not my phone.you didn't answer my question!!!!!! How do I know you Know what your talking about you only answer emails. And not even on time like the website states. More lies.....
and the fine print: says something like this email is owned by Sprint Nextel.
