So I need to invest in a cell phone.
I definitely don't want to go with MetroPCS because that's what my brother uses and it gets horrible service; he never has any bars anywhere.
I live in Michigan, so I was thinking about going with Boost Mobile, as I've heard they have really good service in this area.
I'm planning on going with the flat rate $50/month plan, but I have a question about that.
I need to know, if I buy a phone, do I still have to pay for the first months starting service? I need to know how cheap of a phone to get.

    Thank you so much.

Phones with boost get pretty cheap and I doubt you'll have to pay for the first month of service. You can expect a phone of 75 below that has pretty cool things. Most of them have chirp which is also fun to use and time saving.

I ama n authorized Boost Mobile exclusive reatiler and wanted to share some info which will hppefully help you decide.

I would first recommend that you buy one of the CDMA Series phones because those actually are backed by the Sprint Nationawide Network and the reception you get with the walkie-talkie phones (Iden Network-Nextel) arent as strong. The handset I would recommend thats cost effective would be the Sanyo Mirro $59.99, I have attached an image of it to see what you think about it. When you do purchase ANY Boost Mobile handsets you do have to pay for the phone and the 1st mo service or else you will have a phone in your hand with no service at all and Im sure you wouldnt be happy. But if you have any other questions, feel free to email me or post it up at Boostmobile805's Blog
