I have used Boost for several months, and its coverage and performance have been excellent. However, the Boost website, utilized for such things as actually paying them, is maddeningly crude and deficient.

While trying to add money to my pay-as-you-go plan, about 80% of the time, after a long and protracted process, when I hit the button "confirm payment" I am then greeted with a "Boost Mobile Re-Boost (their name for adding money to the account) is not available at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience".

Further, the system often times, when it finally does appear to work, will not process the credit card payment, but rather suspends it until their card processor actually calls you to confirm you are the owner of the card you have already registered. My last call took twenty minutes, only to result in the rep stating they could not contact my bank, and that my add money transaction would have to be canceled. Later, after going through the laborious process all over again, they again called, asked many questions, and then brought on my card-issuing bank rep to ask me (in the hearing of the Boost Mobile order processor) all of my card security questions.

During one of these unsuccessful discussions, my cell account actually ran out and cut me off. They charge you for the time you are on hold trying to pay them!

Good grief, is anyone else having these problems? Oh, and I had set up their Auto-Reboost system to automatically add money at a certain level, but it never functions, despite confirming online everything is set up. For a tech company, the website transactions are crude, inefficient, and enormously customer unfriendly.

    Re: Boost Mobile Website Problems

I find that trying to access your account via using your phone rather than a computer is impossible. The website does not allow you to enter your mobile phone number. Thus, you do not have the capability of accessing your account from your phone. This is highly inconvenient.

    Re: Boost Mobile Website Problems

I've paid them with my credit card twice, they haven't processed the payments, they cut off my service. When i call and write they ignore the problem. I've notified the fcc. I told both boost and the fcc about the bug. They don't care. They just want to make sure your payments are late so they don't have to drop the monthly charge. I'm flaming mad.
