Hello,
We used to have Sprint, then Virgin Mobile (Sprint CDMA reseller), now Boost Mobile (Also Sprint CDMA Reseller).
Sprint and Virgin mobile tech support had no problem turning off Call Waiting for our lines with quick phone call.
We use the lines for business (taking orders) and receive as many as 40 calls per day,
so constantly getting interrupted by Call Waiting/Voicemail beeps while jotting down orders/credit card #'s/ etc and having to ask clients to repeat themselves gets very annoying for us.
Every Boost tech I've talked to is friendly but clueless as to how to do this. They all claim it is not possible (only per-call-disabling, not permanently turning the feature off).
It sure would seem like if Virgin and Sprint can do it, Boost would be able to also. Any insight from anyone on this? Thank you in advance

That's strange that they have no idea. Call waiting is a feature of the calling plan, so there must be a way to disable it at the plan level - I know you can disable call waiting on an outgoing call by dialing *70, but that doesn't really help you any.
