Samsung Transform Ultra notifications

Hey everyone I've had the Transform Ultra for a week now and I love it so far, the only thing that I don't like is that emails and text messages both use the same notification =/ I couldn't figure out on the phone or from the manual how to either give them seperate notification sounds or to turn off email notification (I don't really care about knowing when I get a new email on the phone) Any help would be appreciated THANKS!! =)

You have to turn the notifications off within the email application itself. I had to do it in two places the "Email" and the "Gmail" app. Once you're in your email you:

click the left button (to bring up the menu)-->More-->Account settings-->Uncheck Email notifications to turn off completely, or "Select Ringtone" to change the ringtone so that it is different than text.

Did the member above help you solve the problem? If your phone has a LED notification light there might be a way to change the color of that also, if that will help.
