although after working at a parts store for 6 years I must say, we would be out of business if it werent for how often the ford products broke down.

Ford makes great trucks and hopefully they are making better cars today, but for my money I drive GM cars.

95 Bonneville SSE with 221,000 mile... my daily driver
2002 Bonneville SSEi.... wife's daily driver
and my 2005 F150 Lariat

Both have crappy commercials but I guess ford lol

I've gotta go with Chevrolet on this one.

What's going to happen when this thread is still here but the companies are not? (economy...).

Then I guess we can discuss their good times.

I try and stay optimistic about it without getting delusional.

The nameplates will be sold and kept alive even if the original companies aren't.

Only thing Chevy has going for them IMO is the Camaro, TransAM, and Corvette.

The full story on Inside Line gave the overall win to the Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie, but as the story notes, the margin of victory to last place was incredibly slim. Some of the competitors excelled in certain areas but lagged in others, and we'd like to take the time to point out these traits for consumers that have a narrower focus on what they need from a truck. Keep in mind too, that some trucks offer options that may even-things up or possibly change the final rankings. For this exercise, we're comparing the models as they were delivered to us.

Every Ford owner i know loves their car....but they keep complaining about how there's always something wrong with their car...seems kinda dumb to love a car if its always needs something fixed....Chevys break down too....but not as often as Fords do...just ask the owners..

I like Chevy for the blazer and vette (97) but Ford is coming out with AWESOME cars and they have had some cool cars
