heh - one of my high school friends got a new 'vette when we were about 3 years out of college.... he came up to my small-town world for the weekend and we tested the beast... no shaking at 120 (as fast as we dared go since there are no straightaways in my area!) - I was a passenger too

Hubby was a passenger at 140 in a Subie WR7 (or whatever they call that Imprezza road rally version)

sounds like you tampered to get up to that speed... starting in 1996, the ninjas were equipped with an electronic thingamabob that kept the bike down to only 127, although the bikes are capadle of doing 220+

just then there was a report of shots fired in the area we were and they were running from the cops and they were coming our way.... no sooner said he gave me back my liscence an joined the pursuit as it passed us
honest truth

115mph in my '02 Saturn (that's right.. a Saturn. I modified it, too). After a few mods, I maxed out the speed limiter with practically no effort at 124 - if the limiter wasn't there, the gearing would have allowed 155!

Highest was 140mph in my buddy's '99 Trans Am. 2nd place goes to my other friend's '00 Mustang GT at 130mph. The Mustang was surprisingly stable at 130.. felt more like 90. The Saturn however.. a good word would be "floating".
