Speaking of Sprint, our pal Sascha over at PC Mag played around with a couple of wireless laptop cards (the
Novatel S620 and the
Sierra Wireless 580) on their new
high-speed
EV-DO network
(which’ll set you back $80 a month for unlimited access) and found that it was great — when you can find a signal.
Apparently Sprint offers access in 14 different metropolitan areas, but it’s pretty limited and only a handful of
cities have anything close to full coverage.
