The Symbian OS has had it’s
share of viruses, but apparently the
developers of SymbOS/Cardtrap.A decided that killing your phone was not enough and figured they’d go for your PC as
well. The trojan brings along a pair of windows worms, Win32/Padobot.Z and Win32/Rays, when it gets transferred to your
phone. If you insert the phone memory card into your PC (say, to clean off some pesky trojans)* Padobot.Z will
attempt to auto run and Rays will pretend to be your phone’s system folder in hope for an unsuspecting double click.
Don’t be that guy.
