Residents of Helsinki, a Finnish city of less than a million centrally, apparently have a little problem with
flushing things down the toilet. Namely, their cellphones. In fact, Helsinki Water has made note that this is an
increasing problem that their sewage collection facilities are facing — but think about it, what is one to do when your
handset goes kerplop after you’ve done your duty? Considering how cheap they are these days, probably just flush the
damn thing and go buy another, that’s what. Any American waste disposal experts in the house who want to weigh in on
this one?
