Ottawa-based DragonWave, a global supplier of next-generation wireless networks, has announced that Consorcio de Telecomunicaciones Avanzadas S.A. (COTA), a regional telecommunications operator in Spain, has deployed DragonWave's AirPair wireless backhaul solution to converge legacy video and new data and voice services for subscribers in Spain's Murcia region. DragonWave has also announced that the AirPair solution has been selected by Prosystel SAS, a network integrator specializing in the design of access and transport networks for regional operators and local governments, to enable WiMAX-based data and voice services in southwestern France.
