Perhaps Verizon realizes that it needs more worldphones on its roster, perhaps it just realizes that not everyone
needs VCAST TV -- but whatever the reason may be, Motorola has ushered the
GSM-capable
MOTORIZR Z6c slider into existence. Featuring dual-band
GSM for European and Asian compatibility alongside the usual
CDMA with
EV-DO for domestic use, the Z6c forgoes MediaFLO support altogether but retains the Z6tv's QVGA display and 2 megapixel cam. No word on a release date, but now that the
FCC hurdle has been cleared, we'd be surprised if Verizon didn't at least
try to squeeze 'er out in time to pick up some holiday sales.
