er.. you gota definately see Vol 1 before seeing Vol 2.. Vol 2 explores the characters more namely the bride and bill.. its an excellent flick.. liked the eye scene also lol

Thats Tarantino's style .. you cant expect to not see blood/violence when you go to watch his one of his films

i saw kill bill 1 and it was so awesome that i had to see the 2nd when it came out to theatres.

i like the 1st one more...maybe it's cuz there's quite a bit of action there than the 2nd one.
2nd one is more talking and understanding the story more as it unravels...

I wouldn't call part 2 a sequel, like the Star Wars trilogy, it was meant to be one large movie.
He didn't release both parts together because the movie would have been too long. A sequel is more of an afterthought of the original movie, in this case part 2 is the finish of the story.

Agreed, in fact I think in some places they screen it as one long movie.

I don't think so. It actually started out as just one movie, became too long and got split into two.
