    I know how to setup a verizon email account on outlook manually.. i type in stuff like "incoming.verizon.net" and "outgoing.verizon.net" i already tried incoming.aim.com and that.. and that doesn't work.. im not really good at all the email stuff with outlook.. i COULD continue going to the website to get the email.. but i just wanna know how to get the account on outlook.. so does anyone know

    Now, to access a free AIM Mail account with Outlook Express:

    Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Outlook Express.
    Click Add.
    Choose Mail....
    Enter your name.
    Click Next.
    Enter your AIM Mail address (something like "[email protected]").
    Click Next again.
    Make sure IMAP is selected under My incoming mail server is a __ server.
    Type "imap.aim.com" in the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: field.
    Enter "smtp.aim.com" under Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:.
    Click Next >.
    Type your AIM Mail user name (AIM nickname) under Account name: ("ladedu", for example).
    Enter your AIM Mail password (AIM password) in the Password: field.
    Click Next > again.
    Click Finish.
    Highlight imap.aim.com in the Internet Accounts window.
    Click Properties.
    Go to the Servers tab.
    Make sure My server requires authentication is checked under Outgoing Mail Server.
    Go to the IMAP tab.
    Make sure Store special folders on IMAP server is not checked.
    Click OK.
    Click Close in the Internet Accounts window.
    Now, select Yes to download the list of AIM Mail folders to Outlook Express.
    Click OK.
    If you encounter problems sending mail, try this:

    Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Outlook Express.
    Highlight imap.aim.com.
    Click Properties.
    Go to the Advanced tab.
    Enter "587" under Server Port Numbers for Outgoing mail (SMTP):.
    Click OK.
    Click Close.
