Re: watch out
What do you mean you "think" he's on this website? Are you sure or aren't you? How did you meet this person, and if they are a member of our site, can you give us a username? Bear in mind that we are not responsible for transactions made through the site, but we can help try to mediate the situation if we have a little more information.

Re: watch out
Okay, you're not helping me help you, and it's starting to sound like you sent money to a completely unverifiable stranger. How did you send the money? If you're trying to "help" other people avoid getting ripped off, do you realize how easy it is to get a new aim screen name? You should ALWAYS use PAYPAL when you purchase online from people you don't know!!! Send me a private message with as much information as you can give me on the entire transaction, and I will let you know if there is anything I can do to help, or any advice I can give.

Real name: No Nickname, No What people call me name, The main reason that you want their real name is to make the money order out to them in their real name, so that ONLY they can cash it.
Real Address: No work address, No PO Box, No Friend's address
Real Phone Number: And make sure you talk to them and get the deal spelled out in BLACK AND WHITE before you send money (in the form or a money order, check or Paypal). You *bswvballer01* should not deal with anyone that JUST has a cell know number (if it's prepaid you'd be screwed), and do not fall for the old "I only have a cell phone." Yes some people only have cell phones, but people that you *bswvballer01* will be dealing with for a transaction, better have more than just a cell phone, otherwise no matter how good the deal YOU will need to pass it up.
Always always always always (did I mention ALWAYS?), send money and or things you are shipping to other people CERTIFIED with a TRACKING number. If shipping through US Mail, UPS, DHL, FEDX or any of the other delivery services, state that it MUST be signed for, if not signed for, the package is NOT to be left. If you can't afford to ship a letter with a check or a package certified (only a few bucks), you can't afford to be buying things that you can't walk into a store to buy, face to face.
And always remember, things can and do get lost in the mail, but if you get a tracking number and send it certified, the chances that once they get it and have signed for it, removes any doubt as to when they got it. I personally always get it signed for and if it's not the person that I sent it to, they have to also print their name. That way when you look up the tracking information, it will show the address it was delivered to who signed for it (depending on which company you are dealing with for shipping), and they (the company can look up who signed for it as well).
If this all seems a bit of a hassle for shipping a check or money order to someone, it's more of a hassle to send cash and then have the person on the other end say ... "What money?"

this is absolutely how i understand it. i've already spoken to "baller" via aim, and it's really a lesson learned situation.
end of story. sorry it ended like this. please read the disclaimer. as brad stated, we're not responsible for the transactions, so please don't post as if we are.
btw, any "guest" who sees your post and aim can send you a message.
