Samsung x427 or Motorola v400?

I have always been a nokia guy, but lately my little 6590i has been turning off when I need it. It claims the battery needs recharging when the battery is completey good to go. Plus I've had it for a while and think it is time for a change. I've been getting a lot of mail about the samsung x427 and the mototrola v400 which would you prefer to go with? (money aside)

i would go wiht the motorola. i have seen both phones in action and the v400 is really good. the screen resolution is much better than samsung's, and the ringtones you can play with it are excellent.

the only down side is that the v400 is much bigger than the samsung, but i really dont care

Well you have a benefit the x427 because the reception on it will out perform any motorola, especially the v400. I own both and have tested the v400 from motorola when it came to singal strength. They sent me several different versions of software to correct a problem where the phone will not switch towers, when all my other phones in the store, x427 included did. The screen resolution is the same on both phones and the v400 has an external caller id, which the x427 does not. Also the v400 battery life is a lot shorter than the x427. Its up to you, but I personally do not recommend motorola products, they always seem to have reception issues.

I have the x427, and I must admit its pretty nice. However, im not sure about the other phone, so I cant say for sure that its better, but I CAN tell you the Samsung isnt bad at all.

I started off with the x427 but i quickly changed to the v400 because i could never get a good signal. The v400 isnt the best in the world, but if your looking for a phone with a lot of cool features i would get that. It is much more expensive though.

v400 has quad band, caller id on the outside, and a much longer battery....for someone who slangs these things trust me when i say go with the moto....
