Anyone have either of these phones for Cingular wireless? How are they? They look really good and i have a few friends that have them and they seem really nice.

I want one but Cingular wants to charge me around $500 for the v400 for the full phone price without rebates and a deactivation and reactivation fee because my contract isnt up for a little over a year.

My current nokia is a piece and wont stop vibrating whenever someone calls me and its just overall too boring for me. Orginally when i got my plan i didnt have much money and i got it for free (Nokia 3595). I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get either of these phones for under $300 without canceling my current plan or anything...i just want to buy the phone and use it.

I have the v400. aside from the problem im having now, it's been great. The photo's aren't high quality, but its a phone. the screen is good. it's strong, been dropped a few times. The v600, seems like it has bluetooth and a new layout, not that much different from the 400. I think that's about it.

eBay, buy the phone, take it in and they'll charge you for something, but not $500.

yo hey do wut i did, i have the v400 and mom got the v600 (cingular family plan), i went to best buy and they had the v600 for $299.99 and a $150 mail in rebate droppin the fone to $150 and along with with this deal at best buy was that if u bought the v600, u get the v400 for free. You would pay $130 in the store for it and get a $130 back in the mail in rebate. Best Buy by far has the best deal on it with Cingular

Definately get one on ebay. They have been selling for around $200. You can use your sim from your nokia with it. Don't even have to tell cingular.
