I just recently added a line to my FamilyTalk plan. I have received the phone and the Cingular site shows the new number. But yet when I try to call it or make a call from it, it doesn't let me. Do I have to call Cingular up and tell them to 'turn on' the line?

You should definitly call them. If they list the new number, it should be active, either way, it ain't working for you, make em fix it.

I called them up and I guess they hadn't activated the SIM yet Also, isn't basic voicemail and call waiting supposed to come free with the FT plan? When I compared the features (online) of my other two phones with this new one, this new one had much fewer features (like no vm).
