I was at a cingulair store one where they offer a ton of products and have a service technician for cingulair in the store.. And yes they said they no longer did written contracts. They said they did verbal agreements on the phone.

CingularOne is right, company store dont do verbal contracts over the phone. A contract MUST be signed.

Brenda, the person who told u that Cingular doesnt do written contracts anymore lied to u and it sounds like u went to an Agent store. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go to those stores. They will try to get ur money or whatever else they can from u. I've heard many BAD experiences from people who have gone to Agent stores and they want nothin from u other than to make a sale or even collect some "side" money for themselves by sometimes overcharging u for products so they keep the extra money. A good way to see if you're going into an Agent store is look at the window before u go into a Cingular store and if it says AUTHORIZED AGENT of Cingular Wireless, then chances are its not a Corporate store.

Sorry to hear about ur bad experience.

From all that I see posted about cingular. I can safely say CINGULAR sucks the big one. I will no longer invest my time in this forum even discussing them. They are the worse of the worse. So long Cingular and all your worthless problems.

Dang that is messed up. Im sorry you had to go through that. Whenever I close an account of any kind. I always make the company write me a letter stating my account is closed and i dont owe them jack that way they cant come back later trying to harass me for more money.
