cancel contract?

My daughter and her boyfirend just signed up with Cingular. I asked her how she likes it and she said that it drops a lot of calls. It also happens to her boyfriend so it's not just her phone. I mentioned to her that when I re-upped with Verizon I had 15 days to return my phone and 30 days to void the contract. she said that she had talked to them and she "couldn't really" do that.

anyone know what the policy is? They've only had their phones for like a week or two.

They have a 30 day return policy and should only charge u for the activation fee's and any usage charges.
